About the Journal

Engineering Informatics and Intelligent Systems (EIIS) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to trustworthy, knowledge-embedded, and deployable AI for engineering. The journal publishes research on intelligent systems that support engineering decisions across design, analysis, operation, maintenance, safety, and risk management. EIIS particularly values work that integrates learning with structure, including semantics, expert knowledge, physical principles, rules, constraints, simulation, and human oversight.

Relevant topics include engineering knowledge graphs, ontologies, expert systems, neuro-symbolic AI, physics-informed learning, multimodal engineering intelligence, digital twins, grounded LLMs for engineering workflows, intelligent inspection and maintenance systems, code and compliance checking, resilient infrastructure analytics, and benchmark design for engineering AI.
